By accessing or using MakeInvoice.online ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

MakeInvoice.online is a web-based invoice generator that allows users to create, customize, and download professional invoices in PDF format. The Service is available in two tiers:

  • Free Tier: Basic invoice creation with watermark and advertisements
  • Premium Tier: Full features including no watermark, custom logo upload, multiple currencies, premium templates, and no advertisements

3. User Accounts and Premium Subscriptions

3.1 Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are available at the following rates:

  • Monthly: $7/month
  • Yearly: $49/year (saves 40%)

All payments are processed securely through Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service.

3.2 Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

3.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at support@makeinvoice.online within 14 days of purchase if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Create invoices for non-existent transactions
  • Attempt to circumvent premium features without payment
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MakeInvoice.online and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all invoice content you create using our Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over your business information, client data, or invoice content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We are not responsible for ensuring that your invoices comply with local tax laws, accounting standards, or legal requirements. You are solely responsible for ensuring your invoices meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAKEINVOICE.ONLINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MakeInvoice.online and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MakeInvoice.online operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
